Creative Ways To Get DFed For "Brazen Conduct"
by JW_Rogue inokay, so here's the idea let's try come up with some creative ways to get dfed under the new "brazen conduct" rule.
i'll start:.
continuously schedule get togethers at your house on the same night as the meeting, invite the entire congregation and see who shows up.. go to the memorial and drink the entire glass of wine but don't eat the bread.. regularly go to nude beaches and tell people that's what adam and eve would do.. get a jw.org tattoo on your neck and tell people you count hours anytime somebody sees it.. when a preteen brother or sister gets baptized tell them they are also ready to start driving.

1. Set the congregations computer homepage to a porn site.
2. Tell sisters you need to measure their skirts to make sure they are long enough.
3. Wear a tie to the meetings with Jehovahs-Winesses.com embroidered on it.
4. When answering at the meetings always say first, "The 7 in Brooklyn saw in a vision..."

As long as she contributes $$$$$ to the WT, they will let her do as she pleases. -

ladies , its not just me, is it?..
by sowhatnow inok ladies, has there been any documented studies on the role religion or society plays in keeping women in an economical and social disadvantaged state ?
im wondering how many other women out there in the world, who either being raised or being long term followers of a strict religious faith, with traditional family structures, have upon either divorce or death of a spouse find it nearly impossible to find a mate or economic stability , and live out the remainder of their lives struggling and either bouncing from one guy to another, being disappointed or used, or simply alone.
i have personally felt, that i, being a xjw and now divorced woman , with no acceptable work skills,[ ie: fancy resume with degrees] living of low wage part time work and barely any alimony , will simply be viewed as someone trying to get another man to support her.

From the few chats we have had, you seem to be a wonderful person. Don't let a few bad dates get you upset. Since I have decided to fade, I have tried to wet my feet in the dating pool. Guess what? I am having absolutely horrible luck! The last one, she was a meme. Everything always turned to her. Me this, me that! I was starting to think that it was all me. Then I realized something. Being a witness for so long, I have lost the ability to date. The ability to interact and see qualities that I wanted in a girlfriend. So, I took a step back. A couple of weeks ago, I was invited to a witness get together at a park. I went to be with my sister. When there, I saw this one sister just staying around the perimeter. Not really interacting. So I went to her and introduced myself. Well, long story short...she has major doubts. Pretty much marked in her congregation. I find her fascinating.
So, what am I trying to say? Don't give up! I kind of like Giordano suggestion. Pretty much what I did. Is this going to work out for me? Who knows? Will it work for you? Again, who knows? Just don't let it get you down. Hell.....if this doesn't work out for me, I may have to get in contact with you ;P

Well isn't this a bunch of BS
by Doctor Who inwell, our sister congregation just had their co visit this past week.
on saturday afternoon, i was talking to a couple of ministerial servants in that congregation and they stated that an unmarried brother is not fulfilling to the max what jehovah wants of us.
they stated that the co went on a tirade that if you are unmarried you are being selfish and not following what jehovah wanted for mankind since he created eve as a compliment for the man.

Ok, I got the lowdown. In their congregation, they have 3 MS that are single. What the CO did is during their Servants meeting, he talked about the 'benefits' of having a faithful wife at your side. He stated how Adam was unhappy until he had Eve, and if your are serving Jehovah being single and unhappy you might need a helper (wife.) He even gave a wink, wink, nod, nod on other benefits of being married.
I just wonder if this is sanction from higher up, or if this CO is just pimping?

I just text an Elder from my congregation. He said there is NO way that can be true, they must of misheard something. I told him if it is true, I am "pissed." "No one has the power or authority to say if I am spiritual if I am married or not." He told me to calm down. -

Scully that is EXACTLY what I was thinking. It just doesn't make sense to me. I know there was a few rumors about me a few years ago because I told a very attractive (physically) that I wasn't attracted to her. She ended up married to a 'friend" of mine a year or so later and he now is separated from her. I just don't find 'spiritual' sisters attractive. Usually there is something wrong with them mentally.
But back to the topic, it sounds fishy to me. I know this CO. He is a loud mouth opinionated a$$hole. Every time he visits I hear the elders complain about him and what he is going to demand. I am just super curious about the truth in this. I think I might actually ask an elder friend later today.

I was like, WTF! I went on and said that maybe that is why Paul had all those problems! Jehovah wasn't happy with him. Those two zombies just nodded their heads in approval.
Now, I know they came to me because I am a vocal, happy single person. I have been known to make a sarcastic statement to brothers I know that are in a loveless marriage. But are they serious? Do you think the Society is going to try to push single brothers into marriage? In a way I can see this. In another, they may have just got the info all wrong. All I know is that we don't have his visit till the end of July. I was going to step down before then, but damn....I want to hear this first hand! LOL!!!

Captive virgins, polygamy and sex slaves: What marriage would look like if we actually followed the Bible
by Captain Schmideo2 ina friend linked this on his facebook page, sharing:http://www.rawstory.com/2015/06/captive-virgins-polygamy-and-sex-slaves-what-marriage-would-look-like-if-we-actually-followed-the-bible/one quote that stood out for me:"granted, sometimes even decent people do get sucked into a sort of text worship that i call bibliolatry, and bible worship can make a persons moral priorities as archaic and cruel as those of the iron age tribesmen who wrote the texts.
(i once listened, horrified, while a sweet, elderly pair of jehovahs witnesses rationalized the old testament slaughter of children with the same words nazis used to justify the slaughter of jewish babies.
)"

When are you guys going to learn that the old testament was fulfilled in the Christ. It is just used a reference. Only the new testament counts. Except when you need to condemn gays....or anything else you don't like. Sheesh! Get with the program.... -

Yeah, I think so. But this is how America works anymore. From one extreme to the other. No common sense anymore.
